What 3 year old wouldn't want a vintage trout net in their bedroom?! My latest and one of my greatest eBay buys. 1 bid and the net was mine!

I paid £10, which considering it is a large piece on the wall, I think was quite good!

I love the thought of the history it has, the seas it has dived into. It makes for the start of a great bedtime adventure story.

It had a black handle which seemed out of place in his new room so I spray painted it gloss cherry red with Rust-Oleum craft and hobby enamel!

This is a great way to capture your growing family and something you can repeat every year, if you wanted to see how they have grown!

If you do not have a screen, no problem, just use a sheet or towel under you!

I have a selection of flashcard alphabets for my family photography and these are my favourite! Animal Fun by Junzo Terada. Two sided and such lovely colours. One side is just the letter and the other is an illustration.

Alphabet building blocks look great too. Plus you don't have to worry about everyone smiling at the same time. A great family photo that is fun and hassle free. (Well if you can get them not to wriggle!)

Linking up a creative, rather than crafty idea this week!

I went to drop off a bag of bits to the charity shop and foolishly thought I would take a quick peek around, as I only had small boy with me in his Quinny, happily eating a biscuit. Within seconds I spied a tea trolley. Yes I know they are terrible kitsch and who on earth would want one for an office? Well me! I am going to use it instead of drawers under my desk! The top is a perfect size for a printer and the bottom tray works brilliantly for the laminator and guillotine. £10 - sold!

I have been on the look out for a lamp and I really fancy a glass base. I haven't found any I like, despite the beady eyes until now! Not only did I pick up this pair of cut glass lamps for the bargain price of £1.50 each but I also found this turquoise beauty, that works perfectly with the TKMaxx shade! £2.50 - hooray!

Just have to chase up Maisons du Monde for the desk now!

Although small boy is under the impression it is his new walker!
