When I had my first big boy I religiously filled in the memory book. In fact I filled in 3, as we were given a couple as gifts! This time around I am having to do bulk updates as I just never get the time to sit down and fill them in (I have 3 again aah!).

One thing I was determined to do for my small boy as I did for big boy was these beautiful letterpress update cards.

The idea of them is you send them to people with a photo but I have filled them in for the boy's memory boxes.

You can find them at Oh So Cherished. They sell a 6 month update card and a 12 month update card. (I will warn you - you may find yourself spending a fortune on this site, everything is gorgeous!)

At 90p they are a lovely but cheap little thing to store for the future! Plus you get free delivery!

After a disastrous journey (sickness in the car is never good!) we arrived in sunny Southbourne (which has quickly become soggy Southbourne)! But it was sunny on small boy's big day and that is all that matters!

I found an old I Spy book in a charity shop for 20p and snapped it up! At 3, big boy is too young to understand or have the patience for all the items in the book, so I cut out the simpler ones and made my own!

We are off to Heathrow Terminal 5 on Tuesday, to fly to Newark and I know he will adore carrying around his special I Spy book, in his mini hand luggage!

I might do a few others like I Spy at the Beach, or at the Park! A mini series!
