See it Snap it Love it - Water
water.jpg

I am playing serious catch up tonight, after a weekend of no internet whatsoever, so first on my list is the weekly photo challenge from Dear Beautiful Boy. This week was Water.

When we go away to the seaside, I always write something in the sand. The date, the reason we are there, who we are with.

So down on the sand at Southbourne on Saturday, I realised this snap would make a perfect Water entry.

I love swimming in the sea, and am quite brave when it comes to bounding in, even in the colder months! Once we were away with all our Uni friends, well before anyone had babies and I was one of the first to run into the sea in the pitch black, in October! My now husband was standing on the sand shouting 'Stop, you'll catch your breath!" We still joke about it now when either of us does something seemingly crazy!

I just had time to get the photo before the water washed our bank holiday memory away!

Mama's Monday Must Do! - blog til I drop

We have just got back from a lovely long weekend with our best friends in Southbourne, and managed to get two sleeping boys out of the car, in a bath and in bed with minimal tears. The hallway is still full of bags and suitcases! With a more than mild addiction to twitter and my favourite hobby, (my blog) a whole weekend without internet access was a challenge!

But it gave me quality time with my friends and children, without checking my phone every half an hour!

However, I am seriously behind with the 3 photo challenges I join in on, one magpie monday post and I am missing my favourite twitter party Mums Night!

The unpacking can wait!

Photo a Day May - Fun!

We are off to Southbourne again, but this time with our best friends and their little girl, who is big boy's sweetheart. A bank holiday mini-break including a trip to Peppa Pig World! What more fun could we have!

I am packing up what feels like almost everything we own! My least favourite, is to pack the dog food as it has a funny smell, which I can't put my finger on. Even though it is dry, it still smells a bit dusty and old!

I bought these brilliant pizza slice bags in Christmas Tree Shops when I visited my brother in December and we realised they are the perfect size, for the amount of dog food we need, for a weekend away!

Plus they are much more fun!

So here it is my fun entry for the Fat Mum Slim Photo a Day May challenge!
