Winter Wedding Guest Outfit Ideas

Out of all the wonderful weddings we have been invited to, every single one has been in the spring, summer or early Autumn.

I have a wardrobe bursting with summery "wedding" dresses, that teamed with a big fascinator and a pashmina are staple guest outfit combinations!

We have our first winter wedding invitation for a lovely couple (the groom I have known since he was born) in December and it has thrown me into a spin.

The thing with a winter wedding is you are more likely to be inside, if the weather is unkind, but in being inside you are less likely to need to be covered up and cosy! I also can't bear wearing black to a wedding, as I always think colour makes the newly weds' photos so much more cheerful!

There are some lovely wintry dresses online (who has time to try 10 on with a toddler in tow?) and these are a few I picked out available.

I love love love the red number as it would work for Christmas festivities too. The colour scheme of the wedding is purple and silver so although I adore the blue belted number, I may end up looking like an older bridesmaid!

Which is your favourite? Would you go for a hat or a fascinator?!

Halloween Party Outfit

Yes, yes i know you are probably expecting a devil's horn or cat tail but Halloween outfits can be sleek and grown up as well as spooky. I love Halloween parties for little ones and grown ups!

Have you seen they have a coming soon page? Love this dress for work. I love that colour.

I just adore the cream Boo! jumper! What would you pick?

What will you be wearing for Halloween? Matching dress up with the kids or forced, I mean encouraged, to wear to wear something silly?! Last year at our fab party I wore some awesome spider web eyelashes!
