Mad Day Out - Finalists' Trip to Legoland

What a day! After a slow start (the males in this house just cannot be rushed) and dropping the dogs to my sister's, we finally made it to Legoland for the MAD Blog Awards Finalists' Day Out. 

It was such a pleasure to meet so many of my favourite bloggers in person and instantly making real life friends.  

I just wished we all had had radio walkie talkies on for the day, as I had absolutely no service and couldn't tweet anyone to see where they were to meet up!

I kept my eyes peeled all day and spotted lots of other yellow badge wearers with the golden tickets on their arms. (Wow - after having those queue jumpers I am not sure the boys are prepared for hour long queues at theme parks ever again!)

As we got in the car and drove home to Weston super Mare my Twitter feed was filled with the most wonderful messages. This was one of my favourites.

I can't wait to see everyone else's posts and photos this week. Here are ours!
